This month we’re learning more about our Service Delivery Manager, Gavin Dawson. Here’s what he had to say when we asked him a few questions about himself.
Tell us one of your proudest achievements?
The birth of my 2 gorgeous girls, although 2 and a bit years apart and both completely different experiences, I can’t separate the days they arrived.
Tell us something that none of your colleagues know about you?
I once did 10 dives on the USS President Coolidge in Vanuatu on my own air without having to be given space air. Depth started at 35m and went to the deepest safest depth of 75m.
Does tomato sauce go in the fridge or cupboard?
The fridge.
Tell us the funniest joke you know?
2 Irishman jump out of an aeroplane. As they leave the plane, the first man says “when you get to 2000 feet, pull the rip cord on your parachute”
Finally they reach 2000 feet and the first man says “Pull the cord”
The second man says “Not yet”
They reach 1500 feet and the first man says “Pull the cord”
The second man says “Not yet”
They reach 1000 feet and the first man says “Pull the cord”
The second man says “Not yet”
They reach 500 feet and the first man says “For gods sake, pull the cord”
The second man says “Not yet”
They reach 10 feet and the first man says “For the love of god, pull the cord”
The second man says ” Nah I can jump from here”
After you left school, what was your dream job?
I worked as a security guard and barman in pubs and clubs. My job was a constant party.
What do you enjoy most about working for Future IT Services?
The people, the culture and the respect for my years of hard work building my skill set.
If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family think you have done?
Disposing of my daughter’s boyfriend’s body.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could have one piece of technology, what would it be?
PlayStation.
If you had to pick one super power what would it be?
Power of flight.
