While devices purchased from retailers (Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Officeworks etc) will come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty & cannot be serviced locally. Retail devices are all sent out of state for repairs, so you could be without a device for several weeks if it requires warranty repair.
Windows Home is great for home users, while Windows Pro has more business features like remote desktop connections, and group policy settings and being able to join the device to a domain. Don’t make the mistake of buying a device with HOME windows in an office environment, it could end up costing you more to upgrade to Pro. If in doubt, always ask first.
